Every year, Lasko Getaways strives to elevate what a luxury Passover program can be. We’re always asking ourselves, “How do we make next year even better?” And, following Passover 2025, we are once again wondering what we can do better.
We found ourselves set against the sun-soaked backdrop of the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, ready to give you a taste of South Florida. It was a weeklong celebration of family, creativity, memories and kosher excellence—and it was nothing short of magical.
Whether you were lounging poolside in a private cabana, laughing along at Lasko Laugh Factory, or dancing to Matisyahu’s latest hits, there was something for everyone.
Let’s take a look back at what made this 2025’s program so unforgettable—and why you should start planning for Passover 2026 now.
When the sun set, the curtain rose. There were nights full of laughs, dazzling illusions, musical headliners, and high stakes. And each night was more memorable than the last. Let’s break it down night-by-night.
First, we welcomed you all to the high-rolling world of Lasko Casino. Families gathered around the Blackjack, Craps and Poker tables, stacking up chips and bragging rights for the rest of the holiday. The smiles, laughs, and free-flowing vibes told us the house may have lost that night, but every guest liked the hand they were dealt.
Up next, we were awe-struck, dumb-founded and bamboozled by the magic of Eric Wilzig. With each trick bigger and crazier than the last, Eric had the entire ballroom completely mixed up Rubik’s Cube (of which he reminded us that there are 43 quintillion ways it could be mixed up) and a portrait of Mickey Mouse. No other spoilers.
Then we were treated to a night at The Lasko Laugh Factory where the lineup couldn’t have been sharper. Ami Kozak, Eli Lebowicz and Yechiel Jacobs brought the energy and the laughs to their stand-up sets. But they took the night to a whole new level when they graced the stage together for a comedy panel. Ami busted out all our favorite impressions from Trump to Biden, and Yechiel took the stage as everyone’s favorite Woke Girl. Gut-busting laughs ensued.
We capped the week off with a night of soul-stirring music courtesy of Distant Cousins and Matisyahu. We were brought to our feet as Distant Cousins played all of their biggest hits, and the good vibes continued through the night as Matisyahu treated us to a setlist filled with familiar favorites and new hits that we all have on repeat.
Once again we partnered with the award-winning JM Food Event Design. And once again, the culinary experience at Lasko Getaways was unrivaled, with impeccable eats for every palate. From sunrise smoothies and breakfast bars to gourmet dinners and midnight snacks, the food was plentiful, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious.
Themed buffets celebrated international cuisines, brought out the Culinary Bizarre, served up savory steaks. Plus, delicious desserts and all-day food trucks with craving-killing treats for everyone. Milkshakes, ice cream, and freshly smoked meats from Izzy’s BBQ, our mouths are watering just thinking about what we already have in store for Passover 2026.
And who could forget that Chametz Party? With every chametz treat imaginable under the sun, it was the perfect way to end the holiday.
The 2025 speaker series featured an impressive lineup of scholars, educators, and cultural voices who inspired and challenged us with their wisdom and insight. From engaging Torah discussions and modern Halachic debates to panels on Jewish identity, entrepreneurship, and communal growth, each session offered guests the opportunity to reflect, connect, and grow.
Rabbi Ari Lamm challenged guests to think deeply about Jewish continuity and culture in the digital age. Renowned parenting expert Sharon Mazel provided practical, heartfelt guidance on raising healthy, grounded children. Hollywood animator and motivational speaker Saul Blinkoff energized the crowd with his powerful journey from dreamer to Disney. And Adam Neuman, Chief of Staff and Special Advisor to the President of the Baltimore Raven, offered sharp insights, empowering the next generation of changemakers.
2025 also saw the introduction of Lasko Connect. Led by Adam Neuman, the event turned a Turnberry ballroom into a hub of meaningful conversation and connection. The turnout was fantastic, and we look forward to bringing the event back year after year to help our guests realize the potential of our global network and community.
Our KIDZ Central program was bustling from morning ‘til night with exciting activities designed to spark creativity, confidence, and connection. From bubble parties and bungee trampolines to circus performers and a visit from NBA Champion Eddy Curry, the kids’ experience was every bit as robust and engaging as the adult programming.
A special thank you to our stellar team of counselors and program leads, parents could truly relax knowing their children were entertained, safe, and having the time of their lives!
